Detailed Description

The guide-interpreter will let you relive the life of Versailles Palace during the excursion where, in 1682, Louis XIV officially installed the court and government.

In particular, you will discover the Great Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Apartment. Free time at the end of the excursion for you to stroll through the French gardens bordered by many sculptures - statues, busts, marble vases... sculpted from 1661 by a contingent of artists originally directed by Charles Le Brun, the King's leading painter. The entrance ticket to the Castle is included.

You will have lunch near the Grand Canal and after, the Guide will take you to the Grand Trianon, a marble palace listed as Unesco world heritage since 1979. You will also discover the Queen's Hamlet, a Norman-style thatched cottage built for Marie Antoinette.

For those visiting during high season and on Sundays: "Grandes Eaux", water and music show is also included.

"We had an excellent time. Our tour guide for the day was Geraldine. We chose the full day Versailles tour. We got picked up around 8.15am right outside our hotel. There was only 1 more couple which makes the tour a really personal small group of 4. There was more than enough time to go through the main palace and garden grounds. We all had a lovely 3 course lunch on site. Then we drove to the nearby buildings. Geraldine was very knowledgeable and very pleasant host. We had such an enjoyable day. Next time in Paris, will book other tours with the same company again."

Your ticket (voucher) will be delivered online, paper tickets are not required. Your voucher is the proof of booking and settlement and you must print it and present it at your guide or chauffeur while in Paris. You will have access to voucher desk through a secured link provided in your order confirmation email.

Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Booking changes and cancellations are VALID only when made through us by email at customer@conciergerie.com or by fax at +376 826 770. You can change your reservation date at no charge if you notify us at least four (4) days before your arrival. If you cancel your reservation and you notify us at least five (5) days before your arrival, there is a 20% cancellation fee. After this time no refunds can be made. Prices are valid only when departing from Paris. We apologize in advance for departures or returns that are delayed due to unusual traffic problems. Customers staying in private apartments are requested to wait in front of the entrance of the selected hotel 10 minutes before the pickup time listed on the voucher. Cancellation fees will not be waived for any reason, however, they may be covered by travel insurance. We *highly* recommend that you have insurance with *adequate* coverage, including Force Majeure.
