Versailles Castle Guided Tour

"Lucy was amazing tour guide she was really humorous and easy to engage conversationally during the tour through Versailles and even though we were picked up at the office she managed to drop all of us at the end of the tour back at our hotels instead of us having to take the metro back. The fact that she went out of her way to do such a thing is just amazing. We saw her again on our Normandy trip and had we known she did those as well would have chosen her in a heartbeat. Lucy thanks again for making our trip to France awesome!"

"Julian was a very knowledgeable, pleasant guide. We enjoyed our tour with him. Having a van with only 6 people made it easy to hear while in the van and walking around and inside Versailles. My only complaint is that we had to take a taxi to a meeting point which was $$. Others in our group had been picked up at their hotels. We were not given that option and don't know why we weren't."

"We had a really good tour guide that was very informational about everything we saw. He had some problems with the microphone in the van so some people could not hear him. Also, it was difficult to hear him when we got to the Palace of Versailles because of all the other groups of tourists. I did see two groups that the tour guide was speaking into a microphone that the tourists had ear pieces so that they were not straining to hear their guide. I thought that was really a wonderful tool that would have been wonderful to have for this tour or any other type of tours. I brought my children and there was a couple that was not happy to see children apart of the excursion. I think a question concerning with signing up for tours about children attending would be great to have. My children were a talking in the van in little voices but it bother the couple greatly. During the tour of the Palace we stayed behind the group so my 6 and 4 years would not bother anyone. Which they did not. My other children 9 and 13 did fine on the tour. We had a great time. I liked that the group was only 11 people I found it very easy to manage.The van ride to and from was clean and quick. It may be nice on the ticket to tell people to come inside the office to wait for the tour bus, van or car. We were waiting outside for a short period of time with another two people for a tour sponsored by you."

"Our guide was very friendly and had excellent knowledge of Versailles, we enjoyed traveling together in the car. The only thing is that we had to be split onto another group with an English tour guide when we arrived in Versailles and the tour guide's English language was not quite clear. Otherwise, it was an excellent tour."
