Don Juan II is to the Cachemire what Rome is to Venice, but the spirit, as the attention to detail, are the same. Where the latter is an intimate jewel box, the former offers 14 individual tables of 2 to 8 passengers for dinners of distinction.
Combining all the charm of a European yacht - 1931 Dutch bow, English club library, Italian leather furniture - Don Juan II is the culmination of French know-how. Antique engravings and paintings of the Quai Henri IV, discrete lighting, Pierre Frey linen drapes, Bernardeau porcelain, armchairs designed by Philippe Hurel, a brass and mahogany bar... Here, everything speaks of luxury à la française.
Operated by Yachts de Paris, "Croisière Gourmande" (Gourmet Cruise) includes a 2 hours and 45 minutes cruise on the Seine between the Grande Bibliothèque and the Ile aux Cygnes (Statue of Liberty).
You will board the Don Juan II, a vessel that combines comfort and elegance: very well heated and air-conditioned depending on the season. The sights of Paris are visible through large windows near which the tables are arranged. The exterior upper deck is a perfect spot for an aperitif or after-dinner. The atmosphere inside is always intimate: never more than forty persons aboard. Soft ambient jazz or international standards. Boarding is at Port Henri IV, a magnificent private port on the right bank near the Bastille.
The staff will welcome you between 7:45 and 8:15 pm, with a return to the dock planned around 11:15 pm.
Bastille's Day, July 14th
Charm and elegance for an exceptional evening, enjoy Champagne served throughout the evening and attend the fantastic fireworks from the Seine River. Again, a privilege for just a few. The spendid boat used that evening is named Le Paquebot.
Less intimate but still excellent lunch and dinner cruises are possible with Bateaux Parisiens, nothing to compare with a dinner at Don Juan though:
