Savor the delicate atmosphere of Giverny, where Claude Monet spent the last 43 years of his life. The master of Impressionism established his studio here and found his inspiration. The house, the studio, the beautiful flower garden, the Japanese bridge, and the waterlilies still bear witness to the harmony and poetry the great painter saw in life.

Claude Monet's property at Giverny, left by his son to the Academie des Beaux-arts in 1966, has, after completion of large scale restoration work, become the Claude Monet Foundation, inaugurated in 1980. The house, with its pink crushed brick facade, where the leader of the Impressionist School lived from 1883 to 1926, once again has its colorful decor and intimate charm of former times. The precious collection of Japanese engravings is displayed in several rooms, hung in the manner chosen by the master of Giverny himself.

You will have lunch at Moulin De Fourges, a remarkable location near Giverny.

In the afternoon, you will discover Versailles Palace the Great Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Apartment. You will be able to stroll through the French gardens bordered by many sculptures - statues, busts, marble vases... sculpted from 1661 by a contingent of artists originally directed by Charles Le Brun, the King's leading painter.

"This was probably the most enjoyable time in France. Our guide was excellent. He was very informative and also very receptive to our needs and questions. It would have been nice to have spent at least one more hour at Versailles since it was very crowded in the afternoon and the actual tour through the castle took longer than anticipated. Your ticket (voucher) will be delivered online, paper tickets are not required. Your voucher is the proof of booking and settlement and you must print it and present it at your guide or chauffeur while in Paris. You will have access to voucher desk through a secured link provided in your order confirmation email.

Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Booking changes and cancellations are VALID only when made through us by email at customer@conciergerie.com or by fax at +376 826 770. You can change your reservation date at no charge if you notify us at least four (4) days before your arrival. If you cancel your reservation and you notify us at least five (5) days before your arrival, there is a 20% cancellation fee. After this time no refunds can be made. Prices are valid only when departing from Paris. We apologize in advance for departures or returns that are delayed due to unusual traffic problems. Customers staying in private apartments are requested to wait in front of the entrance of the selected hotel 10 minutes before the pickup time listed on the voucher. Cancellation fees will not be waived for any reason, however, they may be covered by travel insurance. We *highly* recommend that you have insurance with *adequate* coverage, including Force Majeure.
