Detailed Description

While in Paris you can take the opportunity to visit the Pearl of Flanders: Bruges. You will have free time to discover a this true jewel of architecture. The market is in the heart of Bruges, with the medieval bell tower built in the 14th century that dominates the town center and the town hall. Bruges is also known as the Little Venice of the North because of its beautiful canal. A cruise on the canal is included. Lunch is not included but your guide will offer recommendations.

Bruges (Dutch: Brugge) is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, located in the northwest part of the country. Much of the medieval architecture of Bruges remains intact. The historic centre of Bruges was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. There are many magnificent medieval buildings, including the Church of Our Lady, with a 122-meter spire that is among the world's tallest brick structures. In the transept is the sculpture Madonna and Child, believed to be the only Michelangelo sculpture to have left Italy during his lifetime. Bruges is also famous for its 13th-century bell tower, housing a municipal carillon with 47 bells.

Your ticket (voucher) will be delivered online, paper tickets are not required. Your voucher is the proof of booking and settlement and you must print it and present it to your guide or chauffeur while in Paris. Booking changes and cancellations are VALID only when made through us by email at customer@conciergerie.com or by fax at +376 826 770. You can change your reservation date at no charge if you notify us at least four (4) days before your arrival. If you cancel your reservation and you notify us at least five (5) days before your arrival, there is a 20% cancellation fee. After this time no refunds can be made. Prices are valid only when departing from Paris. We apologize in advance for departures or returns that are delayed due to unusual traffic problems. Customers staying in private apartments are requested to wait in front of the entrance of the selected hotel 10 minutes before the pickup time listed on the voucher. Cancellation fees will not be waived for any reason, however, they may be covered by travel insurance. We *highly* recommend that you have insurance with *adequate* coverage, including Force Majeure.
