Detailed Description

History of the Lido de Paris

Two Italian brothers, Joseph and Louis Clerico, purchased the Lido in 1946. They hired a showman, Pierre-Louis Guérin, to manage and begin the quest to bring their spectacular ideas to life. An experienced producer, Renée Fraday was then hired to travel and locate the best of international attractions to present. With the addition in 1948 of Miss Bluebell, originally from Germany, and the Bluebell Girls, the stage was set for outrageous entertainment. Having been fashionable in the 1920s with the Belle Epoque feeling of the Lido Beach and Venice, the five originators transformed the cabaret into a venue for glittering revues and celebrations of life.

Today's Lido de Paris

With the addition of an ice rink, pool and water screen, the Lido de Paris includes technology and machinery to make the spectacles come to life. Night time Paris comes alive at the Lido, and its show provides unique entertainment. Bonheur opened in 2003, and has thrilled and excited audiences since. One becomes enchanted by the Bluebell Girls and Lido Boy Dancers, as a bird-like woman discovers happiness through visits to different worlds: Paris, Women, India and the Cinema. With an amazing 23 sets and 600 costumes designed by the best in costume artists, including Lemarie and Francois Lesage, the show reveals glittering worlds of dance and music that will leaves the audience breathless. Emotions soar as each world tableau brings the imagination and dreams to reality.

The giant moving stage, screens, lasers and the famous Bluebell girls combine to make the Lido an adventure in the best of sumptuous entertainment. Enjoy the real Paris by Night with a visit to this unique spectacular venue and show.

Your ticket (voucher) will be delivered online, paper tickets are not required. Your voucher is the proof of booking and settlement and you must print it and present it at your guide or chauffeur while in Paris. You will have access to voucher desk through a secured link provided in your order confirmation email.

Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Booking changes and cancellations are VALID only when made through us by email at customer@conciergerie.com or by fax at +33 1 79752110. You can change your reservation date at no charge if you notify us at least four (4) days before your arrival. If you cancel your reservation and you notify us at least five (5) days before your arrival, there is a 20% cancellation fee. After this time no refunds can be made. Prices for shows and dinners which include transportation are valid only when departing from Paris. We apologize in advance for departures or returns that are delayed due to unusual traffic problems. Cancellation fees will not be waived for any reason, however, they may be covered by travel insurance. We *highly* recommend that you have insurance with *adequate* coverage, including Force Majeure.
